So what did I do all day? I helped
Then grocery shopping on the way home, and more dishwashing (okay, you may not care about this at all, but I finally, and I believe for the first time this November, managed to have all the dishes in the house clean at the same time! You know: Nano). Then I felt driven to write up the "Dance! Workout with Barbie" review, so I guess I didn't completely avoid writing.
Friday evening was November's Dude Night. I am sworn to secrecy about what happens at Dude Night, but it was, as always, a good time. We met at Stromboli's, which is a fine place to eat and they didn't pay me to say that, but the odd bit was that we were seated in the tiny "room" at the far end of the lounge. About 6'x6', just big enough for a round table with four chairs, but separated from the rest of the space only by a beaded curtain, so we had no problem hearing the conversations just on the other side of it. Unfortunately, nothing interesting.
So now it's Saturday, and I'm about to make an airport run. I need to make progress on both novel and comic this weekend. I'm at a transition point in the novel, where I don't know if I need anything else to happen before I finish this act. I don't think so. So there's going to be a few paragraphs that hurry the characters from where they are to where they need to be for the next big reveal. Of course, I woke up around 5:30 a.m., so I may be a bit groggy today, which is never good for my word count.
Oh, and for breakfast I had chicken hotdogs and banana waffles. In case you were wondering.
