Game Night was more fun than I expected. Role-playing murder mysteries are a lot like Improv, and we all know how I tend to react, but I made it through just fine. I got to play the Philandering Senator (I know, a tautology*). The story was set in the 80's so we dressed in our best period costumes, and tried to figure out which one of us did it.
Shown in the photo are the Suspects: The Maid, the Italian Countess, the Gossip Columnist, the Wealthy Financier, the Art Collector, the Incompetent Heir, the Rebellious Photographer, the Philandering Senator and the Unscrupulous Attorney.
My enthusiasm was certainly helped by the sampling of some Vampire Wine that TJ brought (I figured I had to at least try it). It doesn't take much alcohol to ensure I have a headache the next morning, but I somehow seem to forget that after the first few sips. You'd think I'd learn....
Still, I had a good time, but got home late. It takes hours to solve a mystery. I don't know how those people on TV do it in an hour, what with time out for commercials, too.
* Well, I concede that it's possible that not all Senators are adulterous.
