1. Who is your favorite superhero?
Although I've thought a lot about superheroes, in literary and archetypal terms, I really don't follow them much, and not enough to have a favorite among the "serious" superheroes. I do have a fondness for The Tick, for his cheerful cluelessness and engaging battlecry of "SPOON!"
2. If you could have any superpower what would it be?
I'd have the ability to instantaneously manipulate Reality, change the fabric of Time and Space, with nearly-complete omniscience of everything up to now. However, lacking knowledge of why or how I was gifted with these powers, and unable to foresee the outcome if I do, I'd fear using them, lest I cause some terrible tragedy by my hubris. So I'd be constantly torn between the desire to do good and the fear of causing great harm, and feel tragically isolated from the rest of humanity.
3. What would your super outfit look like?
I'd wear something black and gothic, and look like Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" or Jared from "Labyrinth."
4. What would your super villain/nemesis be like?
There wouldn't be one, really. If there was, I'd know that I had my powers to combat that nemesis and I wouldn't be all angsty. Instead, I'd wrestle with whether I should allow people freedom of thought, or reach into their minds and remove all urges to commit crimes, repress others, engage in malfeasance, dictate morality or watch Monster Trucks.
5. What would your catch phrase/calling card be?
A faint but delightful aroma of Eternity Lily.
