Here's a quick update on the Life of Evan:
Computer News: Although I can now boot Douglas up, he takes a very loooooonnggg time to do so. Rather than wrestle with debugging and optimizing his function, I'm taking it as a sign that it's time to get a new machine, probably a laptop. I've set up a KVM* switch so I can swap between Douglas and my Mac, but I don't think Douglas is so good at that, and a new laptop would deal with it better. I will have to transfer over or replace the software I use (particularly Photoshop and the Broderbund Interior Design app I use for the webcomic).
Refurnishing News: I'm loving my new furniture! It showed up during the afternoon of New Year's Day, and I had assembly help from
Other News: Nearly a week was devoted to a dear friend who asked for help during a crisis. As is my way, I responded. I believe my role was helpful, but now her condition is uncertain and she's not answering her phone. I'm very worried.
All of these things have kept me busy and not working on anything Eldritch. I had hopes of getting back to it this weekend, but that has not happened yet. As always, I will keep you posted.
Thanks for reading!
