I like it when Hz invites me to eat dinner with her. Her parents haven't always planned on another adult joining in. I got such an invitation tonight, but I had a symbolic serving of quinoa and lentils, and it worked out fine. Hz is more interested in my company than how much I actually eat. She "helped" me with my last bite by putting her hand on my forearm while I raised the fork to my mouth (did I mention that she's Incredibly Cute?), and then promptly wanted to play. We drew for a bit, and played with her toy barn, and then she showed me that if I counted to ten, she could leap onto the stack of towels her mother was trying to fold. When we were done, she insisted on escorting me downstairs to my room, "so I wouldn't get scared."
