In short: Awesome. I managed to prepare enough in advance so I wasn't up until late finishing stuff the night before. I had many more people come up to my table and say that they've been reading my comic (a number of them had learned of it at one of the previous Stumptown events). I handed out hundreds of postcards and business cards, talked with a bunch of the other exhibitors, met another local photocomic artist (who may become my Arch-Nemesis), and had a Horde of Screaming Fans (Empress Chill, enesvy, and tyamat (aka zombiegurlTJ)) rush my table. bookherd and sanguinity spent time working the table so I could have breaks, which saved my voice and sanity. In fact, sanguinity is much better at giving the pitch than I am, but when we were both at the table, we put on a pretty good show.
As always, I had a few moments early on of wondering "Why am I here, devoting a whole weekend to this?" But once things got going, there was no doubt. It's exhausting but exhilarating, and I had a great time.
I'll go into more detail later, perhaps. Now to assemble a comic for today!
