Month-Old Meme: 1/2 Off!

Hi, All! After BHFT, I talked with sanguinity (while we walked), spoke briefly with grrlpup, then after dinner talked with drarwenchicken and BILJ about birthing logistics, then called my mother and talked with her for almost an hour. So I had a very social afternoon/evening, but I didn't get Friday's comic done. I guess I'll do that tomorrow.

Here's a stale post I started early last month, for those who might find it interesting...

Friday Five (From April 4, 2008):

1. If you became ruler of the world, what three things would you do first?

So much to do! Surely you mean after staging the Most Awesome Coronation In The History Of The World, right? And throwing the big post-coronation party? And sleeping in the next day? Then, when we were all ready to get down to business, I would:

1. Try, and if guilty, convict and if convicted, punish those highly-placed elected officials in the US government who have committed fraud, malfeasance, misconduct, conspiracy, profiteering, and war crimes.

2. Enact a global Bill of Human Rights that would specify the rights of individuals, protecting them against government, corporations, and anyone else who would bully those weaker then they are.

3. Restructure the global economic system to redistribute wealth more equitably and provide education, health and welfare services to all.

2. If you were a superhero, what would be your name and what powers would you have?

Most people would probably think I'd choose "The Alphabetizer," and be the superhero who can alphabetize anything faster than anyone else. I've also considered "The Justicizer," the superhero who can cause people to get exactly what they deserve just by giving them a look. The one I've been finding most intriguing lately would be "Yes Man." When he tells someone to do something, they have no choice but to do it.

3. You can ask one question to someone who knows EVERYTHING. What is it?

I'd ask "If you were to describe a bestselling novel which I would then write and receive both critical acclaim and phenomenal reader popularity even before it was made into a blockbuster movie, spawning successful sequels in print and film, what would the characters, major plot elements and storyline be?" (Clever, right?)

4. If you were invisible for a day, what would you do?

Probably just watch TV.

5. If you saw a mythical/religious deity walking down the street, what would you do?

Get a photo taken with him/her/it! Unless it was one of those Destroyer Gods. Then I might run away.
