I Really Shouldn't Complain
Before I begin my litany of How The Universe Continues To Disappoint Me, let me point out a few GOOD things from the weekend, like I was lucky enough play golf on three weekends in March (against all odds for Portland Spring Weather). I got to spend Quality Time with Friends & Family: Walking and playing with drarwenchicken
and Hz, walking and Birthday Sushi with sanguinity
, attending a Ruth Reichl reading with snottygrrl
, and setting up my previously-mentioned new External Hard Drive. All of those things were really great.
My biggest complaint is that I was Not Smart over the weekend with my time. If I HAD been smart, I would have designed and assembled the artwork for the Stumptown Comics Fest Exhibitors Gifts, the Free Giveaway Cards and the Bonus Prizes. Not to mention assembling this week's Newsletter and Comics. Instead, I dinked around with my new Netflix account, building my queue and rating over 750 movies that I've seen. Well, I also washed a round of desperately-needed dishes, prepared lunches for the week and researched custom-printed tote bags. So it wasn't as if I TOTALLY wasted my time, but I really need to order the custom-printed items this week so they'll be ready for Stumptown. Current Mood: contemplative
