Once again, I am reminded how easy it is to fritter away a morning. Not that it was wasted; I did laundry, spoke with thrihyrne
, chatted online with sanguinity
, searched eBay for deals on Photoshop, backup power supplies and USB 2.0 hubs, and cleaned up some overflowing email folders. But one gets up and has breakfast, and suddenly it's time for lunch...
I feel like I've been well and truly On Vacation for the past week. Some of that has been due to the weather, and just not feeling like braving the snow to go anywhere. I think I needed a bit of Down Time, where I didn't have
to do anything. That's been great! But I'm hearing the rumblings of the Escalator. In ten days, it starts up again, and I want to be ready. Time to think of webcomics and projects. Time to figure out just what I'm going to do in 2009 to establish myself as a writer.
Tonight, I pick up drarwenchicken
, BILJ and Hz at the airport (assuming their flight isn't cancelled). It will be good to have other people around, and not be In Charge of the House.
