It's Fall, and A Middle-Aged Guy's Thoughts Turn To NaNo
Here's what I’m thinking: If I can assemble five comics and two newsletters each week for the next seven weeks, I'll have enough stocked up to not have to work on those for all of November. That means: NaNoWriMo! My "novel" will be a bunch of Dr. Eldritch short stories, which I can submit to contests and periodicals, publish as an anthology, or possibly try as subscription fiction again. I really want to have something I can publish.
The downside is that this means a accelerated push until November, immediately followed by the frenzy that is Nano. Plus, I'm teaching a class this Saturday and have a table at Stumptown the next week. But right now, October is fairly clear. I think I can do this...
