Better, but Too Little, Too Late
My sites are down again. At least this time my Web Host sent out an email about it the night before. Well, to be fair, they did that before Monday’s outage, but that email said the upgrade would happen over the weekend, and made no mention of problems on Monday.
Yesterday's email was a bit snippy about people creating Trouble Tickets when their sites were down on Monday (which I did). But the “Announcements” section at the top of the ticket-creation screen still hasn’t been changed since April 29th. I think putting those sorts of status updates on the page where people have to go when reporting problems might be USEFUL.
But what do I know? I’ve only worked in IT for 19 years.
