A great holiday! I finished Monday's comic, updated the Vote Incentive comic (you have been voting over the weekend, haven't you?), and went to Second Breakfast with drarwenchicken
. We managed to finish during a break between rain showers, so we walked around the neighborhood for a while, and watched an Easter Egg Hunt with about three dozen kids. Then we came back to my house, and I showed off my magnets. After she left, I took some time off. I didn't really get a day off on Saturday, and I know that if I don't take leisure time on the weekend, I'll start working on comics or the newsletter and then launch into my work week, and I won't really get a break. I tend to regret that.
I still did some work though; I prepared a piece of art to be auctioned off for the “Artists for Alameda” fundraiser. I did up a signed print of Comic #91, and it came out right nice, if I say so myself. It will be sold at a silent auction at Alameda Elementary (2732 NE Fremont) on May 31st, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (I think there will be other art there, too). So if you want to be the first to buy a genuine Dr. Eldritch print, check it out! Current Mood: pleased
