By The Time We Got To Wordstock, We Were Half A Thousand Strong....
I did enter the Wordstock fiction contest
. I was going to, then I wasn't, then I decided I had no good reason not to. The piece I submitted was a short story I wrote years ago. At 550 words, it needed trimming by 10% to qualify, and damned if that didn't make it a better story, too.
