A Quiet Day
Today was very relaxing, after the whirlwind of the last three days.
Tuesday morning, we meant to go to the Post Office, Powell's, Periodicals Paradise and Trader Joes (which unfortunately doesn't start with 'P'), so I could work on Wednesday's comic in the afternoon. Well, we managed to get out the door about 3:00 p.m., and to oh_that_jocelyn
's party right at 6:00. So when I got home (late and VERY tired), even though I hadn't finished the script for the comic, all I could handle was just going to bed.
I woke up a few times in the middle of the night. Was I dreaming possible scripts, or was my brain jumping to the task as soon as I'd wake up? Hard to say, but in the morning, I had a page with scrawled notes, written in the dark. It didn't help much, but this morning I did figure out what to write and put together the comic so it went out only an hour later than usual. I also assembled Friday's comic. I don't want to spend another night writing comics in my sleep. Current Mood: tired
