You know the saying: "Life is what happens while you're waiting for something good to come on TV
."* It's been like that. Since Friday, I visited sanguinity
in the hospital several times (she's getting better now, thanks**). Monday morning, she called with news that she should be released that day, so I spent the afternoon with her and grrlpup
. We played cards, read aloud, walked laps around the ward, and did what we could to stave off the tedium of Waiting For The Doctor ***. I could have left, but I wanted to be around to celebrate her being released, or to be as supportive as I could if the doctor decided that she needed to stay another night. After seeing how boring it is to be hospitalized, I can understand why she was so very happy to be allowed to go home!
* Something like that. I could probably look it up, but you know how I feel about research.
** I leave it to grrlpup and sanguinity to post what details they want released.
*** Theater people may make "Godot" references at this time. Current Mood: relieved
