Friday Commute

The first two hours of my day follow very much the same routine. I suppose that’s normal, but remember how one entry in the HOROSCOPES OF MYSTERY this week is about living the same day twice? As I was driving to work (or as I like to call it, “Big Happy Fun Time”), the radio talk-show host starts reading a quote from a book. I think “Hey, I’ve heard this before!” And not just the quote, I know exactly what the other people in the studio are going to say as they discuss it. I get the bizarre feeling that I experienced this the last time I drove the same stretch of McLaughlin, and I wonder if I am indeed living Thursday over again.

Finally, they admitted that they were replaying a previous broadcast.

In case anyone’s wondering, if I ever have to live one day multiple times, I’d prefer a Saturday.
