Everybody, meet Ed. Ed, meet Everybody.

Today’s big accomplishment was finally creating Ed the Tentacle Monster! He appears in next week’s comics, and I thought I’d have him done a while back, so it wouldn’t come down to the wire. Best laid plans, and all....

Clicking the picture will take you to the Flickr photoset. It has some notes; I thought I might document the whole process, but I have neither time nor inclination to do that right now. I’m generally pleased with the way he came out. Given more time he might be better, but I’m not really a sculptor. Right now, I’m just happy to have Monday’s comic done, so I’m not left with doing it at the last minute.
