Well, the Web Cartoonists’ Choice Awards nominations have been announced, and “Ask Dr. Eldritch” isn’t among them. That’s only a little disappointing. I didn’t really expect to get nominated (not because of quality, but because I’m not associated with one of the larger comic sites that gets a lot more attention). But, there was a call for volunteers to create the award presentation comics, and I quickly submitted my name for that! Apparently last year they struggled to get enough artists to do presentations, so I had high hopes. Well, this morning I got the “Sorry, we can’t use you” email. That’s disappointing. Not only would it be fun to do, but it would have been great publicity.
Oh well. I’ve whinged about it, now it’s time to move on. It’s not like I don’t have plenty of other things to think about today...
