I’d looked on eBay, but the ones I’d seen a few months ago sold for more than I was willing to spend, and there weren’t any more lately. I did find a place that sold pewter scale axes, but again, too expensive. So I decided I’d better make my own.
I quickly realized that my sculpting skills will need to be developed. I didn’t do too badly, but where I visualized smooth surfaces and round, even curves, it came out a bit rough. Still, they’re workable. Here’s a picture:

Perhaps if I can get better at this, I might try selling them on eBay. I don’t know if there’s much of a demand for budget 1:6 scale axes, but there obviously isn’t much of a supply.
