Happy Independence Day (American)! It's going to be freakin' hot here in Portland, so I may stay inside all afternoon, and not venture out in the heat of the day. We'll see.

Oh man, how many comic ideas do I discard because they're too complicated to draw? But you found a clever way around that limitation!

Isn't weeding your files just so satisfying? (And time-consuming....) Hope your joints are feeling better, along with the rest of you!

Thanks! Yes, I'm doing better. I'll be very glad when this round of Medical Adventures is in the past.

I really do like getting to toss a big pile of papers into the recycling. I suppose if I was better about clearing stuff out more regularly, it wouldn't take so long when I finally get around to it. But then the pile's bigger...

I don't think I can get away with the "Too complex to draw" comic too many times (but it sure saved me this month). :-D

1. Find and Audiobook version of Pure Drivel by Steve Martin
2. Listen to the cut called "Side Effects" (not in the car)
3. Laugh hysterically

I hope you feel better now! I've been doing a LOT of trips, and I'm just now catching up.
